Books about eggs

I thought I’d share our collection of books about eggs in time for Easter. Books are a great alternative to chocolate!

This is a great little book that talks about different kinds of animals that lay eggs, and the different ways those animals protect, carry, and incubate their eggs as well as how babies get out of their eggs. This book provides a good amount of informative text.

‘What Will Hatch’ is a very simple book with rhyming text and cut-out pages that will spark the interest of young children.

‘Whose Eggs?’ is similar to ‘What Will Hatch?’ in that it gives some clues and asks the reader to guess which animal the egg belongs to. We also have ‘Whose Nest?’ by the same author.

This book is one in a series that we absolutely love. The other titles cover butterflies, rocks, seeds, and beetles. These books showcase the amazing variety in nature and detail some interesting facts as well.

Happy Easter!
